Great (old) goals you might neverseen (part2)

This is a part2 and last of these two posts where I am sharing some of the great old goals, mostly not that famous, or over consumed by media or clips. Don't expect to watch a typical Maradona or Pele goal, but something really rare that you might never seen. Non WC goals are here. All goals are historical, meaning they are at least 20 years old (1991 season or before). This post has more than 30 videos I picked them carefully.

Watch Part1 of this post here

1968 - Pele vs. Germany in 1968 in a 2-1 friendly. Amazing forgotten goal by his left foot.

1970/71 Inter vs. Foggia 5-0 wonderful scissor kick

1972 Ronnie Radford's Premier League goal of the season against Newcastle

1980 (June 21) Italy 1-Czechoslovakia 1 (European Championship), goal of the tournament

1985 Goal by the Egyptian legendary Mahmoud Al-Khateeb with Al-Ahly

1985 - Saudi Arabia vs. Cameroon in 2-1 victory in Afro-Asian Cup

1989 Maradona - Inter in a 2-0 victory. I remember that game, a wonderful game by Diego

1989 – Soviet Union vs. East Germany in WCQ, Soviet lost 1-2

1991- Branco vs. Argentina in Copa America. Batistuta, the new player at that time, scored within less than a minute by a wonderful header. In the next 30 seconds, Branco equalized with a great free kick, against Sergio Goycochea, arguably best keeper in world at that time. Actually the full video is wonderful to watch where Brazil lost 2-3

Tactical Goals Part
Okay, here is something bit different, great Tactical Goals. These goals mostly are not stunning or superior by the goal itself, but it includes superior move by the whole team. They are not the 20 passes types of goals, but ones that shows there is a great synergy of team behind it. My favourite is the Dynamo Kiev one in 1986.

1975 Germany vs. Netherlands 1-1 friendly. Excellent pass by Beckenbauer (typically played with the outside of his right foot) straight into the run of Wolfgang Seel who accelerated magnificently to bring in a cross which Herbert 'Hacki' Wimmer headed into the Dutch goal

1976 Netherlands vs. Italy 3-1 in WCQ showing great team work and total football in action

1976 – Bettega scoring a very famous goal for Italy vs. England in 1978 WCQ. Italy won 2-0 and that was one of the critical games that meant England missing 1978 WC

1978/79 - Terry McDermott Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspurs. Liverpool at the 70s was a wonderful red team, I love watching old goals for them

1982 - Rummenigge scoring with a very nice move for Germany against England in a famous friendly

1982 – Junior scoring for Brazil vs. Germany in a friendly game. The whole move looks like a soccer beach play and it shows the wonderful coordination of team work and skills that made their fame in 1982 World Cup. What’s interesting that Brazil played 3 friendlies with Germany between 1981 and 1982 winning 4-1, 2-1 and 1-0. Junior, the left back at that time, scored in every game of them.

1986 – European Cup Winners Cup final when Dynamo Kiev crashed Atlético Madrid 3-0, it is the second goal by Oleg Blokhin 1986. That was the first sign of the coming great Soviet team, that in a month team they did great results in the WC (almost the same team) and reached Euro88 final.

1991 Finally this great goal by Roberto Baggio in 3-1 victory for Juventus vs. Inter. Breaking into 5 defenders with 2 simple passes. Baggio was one of the kings of simple football
